Bitterroot, Scoot + Boogie began as a conversation between friends that took physical form Memorial Day weekend of 2021. The idea was to do a femme, non-binary, and trans inclusive skate-tour through Montana and the result was more than we could have imagined.

As we embarked on a 200-mile journey from St. Ignatious to Darby, skateboarders and roller-skaters came from all over to skate the western side of the state.

We met new people, learned new things, shared food and laughter, saw some slams and witnessed unmatched levels of support for one another.

And we can’t wait to do it all again over Labor Day weekend this year! So grab your board, grab some friends and we’ll see you there!!
